My son started at South Dublin Music (SDM) at the age of 5 in 2017 and has since made tremendous progress at playing guitar and piano. He loves his teachers who motivate him and create a positive learning environment which has impacted his desire to progress. He has also played at every concert organised by SDM which has boosted his confidence in playing in front of an audience but also has motivated him to make further improvements. The school manager is a pleasure to deal with as well and has always been accommodating and supportive.
Lee is 8 years now and started piano with SDM when he was 5. The instructor is absolutely professional and kind. He absolutely enjoys every bit of it and we can see an amazing progress he has made. Particularly after playing in the concerts, which is regularly held here, he has clearly become more confident and showed more interest in playing and practicing.

My sons started violin lessons with South Dublin Music when they were only 5 and have progressed so well over the past 18 months. Within just 4 months of starting lessons they were able to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star at the school Christmas concert. They will take their Grade 1 exam this year, and their teacher, Tatyana, has been fantastic helping them with their scales and exam pieces and practicing for sight reading. And the theory classes with Niall are helping them understand the basics of music and preparing for the listening and theory elements of the exam. Overall, we could not be happier and highly recommend South Dublin Music school.
Louis is turning 7 shortly and is entering his 4th year with SouthDublinMusic. Louis started off with the pre-instrumental classes when he was 4 and progressed onto Cello in his second year with SDM, he has received wonderful tuition from his teacher Rob and from Niall in the theory classes. Rob cultivates a very positive environment for Louis to learn and grow with his instrument. Learning a new instrument is not easy, however Rob goes at Louis’s pace. He is always so supportive and instills a sense of self-belief, nothing is rushed, and the lessons are always very enjoyable. Louis is preparing to undertake grade one this year. I would highly recommend SouthDublinMusic to any parent who is looking to get their child into music.

I was in my sixties when I first started violin. I had never played an instrument and I joined SouthDublinSchoolofMusic in 2019. My tutor is Niall and despite a few years being online I have made tremendous progress. Niall is very professional, encouraging and always finds ways of motivating me. He is so patient, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Hi there! My name is Max and I just wanted to share how grateful I am to have joined South Dublin Music in 2017. It's been an incredible journey so far, and I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to learn from such professional and talented musicians as Tatyana and Niall. They have been amazing mentors to me and have really helped me develop my skills. Of course, none of this would have been possible without the guidance and support of my music teacher, who has been an incredible help along the way. Thanks to all of you, I feel like I've come such a long way in my playing, and I'm excited to see what the future holds!

I started my music journey in 2018 and would like to express my gratitude to my teacher for teaching me how to play the violin. It has been an amazing experience so far and I am excited to continue learning and growing as a musician. Thank you for all your guidance and support, I look forward to the upcoming workshops and lessons.
I love going to my weekly lessons. My tutor is kind and helpful and always encourages me to be patient and do my best. I take part in the concerts that are organized by South Dublin Music, and I feel that this is a great way to get experience playing in front of an audience. I would recommend South Dublin Music to anybody interested in learning to play a musical instrument properly.
